The Chocolate Cherry Sunflower blooms in rich chocolatey-brown and mahogany-red shades and is well-loved by pollinators! Especially lovely when planted with a mix of their traditional yellow cousins for a uniquely wonderful and colorful contrast. Our deepest and richest colored sunflower variety. Vibrant and velvety! Flowers have a dark chocolate center and petals of a mahogany-burgundy. Great cutting flowers. Sunflowers are a low-maintenance flower making them ideal for the kids to try! Easy to grow, they thrive best in bright sunny spots.
Press seeds 1/2 inch deep into loose soil Plant seeds about 12 inches apart from one another. Water. Sit back and enjoy! Bloom Season: Mid-Summer. Plants grow 6-8 feet tall and have long flower stems, making this variety a great cut flower.
